Sam

Sterling

Vice President

Sam Sterling joined SBD in 2016 as one of our first-ever digital fellows. In his 2+ years at the firm, Sam worked his way up to Director of Campaigns & New Media and helped us build the systems around our philosophies of strategic voter outreach that still hold true for our firm today. Between then and now, Sam served as the first ever National Digital Organizing Director at the DCCC, ran the affidavit hunt for the election fraud case in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District, was the Deputy Coordinated Director in Maine in the 2020 cycle, and managed Monica Tranel’s Congressional Race in Montana. We’re happy to have him back as a Vice President and look forward to working together to flip seats and expand Democratic majorities across the U.S.
